Caressed by Twilight is a Merry Gentry based site but caters for the Anita Blake lovers, with their shifters and vampires as well as range of mystical beings. It's almost ready to be opened, and it's run by some of the same people that are here on OB.

Anita Blake and the Anitaverse is product of Laurell K Hamilton, I take no credit for the ideas that are used here, nor do I wish to, this site is purely for the entertainment of those who enjoy her work and enjoy to Role Play. I'm simply borrowing her world for a little while but not taking any of her characters. Obsidian Butterfly do not use canon characters from her books. We respect Laurell too much to destroy the character's she's worked hard to create.

Necromancers:-

Human Servants:-
*Upon first mark- increased resistance to injuries and vampire
mental powers. Almost immune to their own vampire's mental
powers.
*Upon second mark - allows the vampire to draw power from the
human servant, to experience food and drink consumed by the
servant, and to enter the servant's dreams
*Upon third mark- increased healing, poison immunity, ability to
communicate with their vampire at any time through mental link.
*Upon fourth/last mark- immortality.

*Extreme strength, sense of hearing and sense of smell.
* Faster than most humans with the ability to trick minds into
thinking they've teleported.
*Mind rolling through eye contact allows them to hypnotize
humans for a short period of time.
*Mass Hypnosis- some vampires can put crowds under a certain
impression.
*Empathy
*Controlling bite where they gain some mental control over their
victim.
*Orgasmic bite.
*Smell a lie

Additional powers for Master Vampires
*Flight
*Power drain over vampires they have sired
*Pyrokinesis
*They can have an animal to call
*Obtain human servants

Wereanimals:-
*ability to shape shift into their animal.
*Control to change only certain parts at once (claws, teeth, fur)
*Increased speed and strength
*Damage resistant
*Ability to recover from almost any wound as long as it's not
inflicted by silver
*Acute senses
*Command over animals of their species

Additional powers for alpha wereanimals
*Ability to resist transformation
*Can force others in their group to shape shift
*Healing powers through certain methods (blood exchange,
sex..ect)
*The ability to sculpt your body into any kind of shape.
